Arizona is making their second World Series appearance since winning the 2001 title, in an epic seven game series against the New York Yankees. Playoff team batting average is 0.247, with 18 HRs and 50 RBIs. 2B Ketal Marte and rookie LF Corbin Carroll keep getting timely situational hits and playing stellar defense. Starting pitchers Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly, gladly welcomed Brandon Pfaadt into the limelight during the NLCS. Middle relievers Ryan Thompson and Kevin Ginkel continue to resemble the 2021 Atlanta Braves bullpen. Paul Sewald has one win and six saves during the postseason run. Arizona is playing fearless baseball and with house money, which is a great hand to be dealt in poker. Don’t bet against them yet.

Texas Rangers Analysis

Rangers advanced to the franchise’s third World Series appearance, after beating Houston in seven games. Trying to make historical amends after losing the 2011 World Series to St. Louis, in a tight and stressful seven game series. Playoff team batting average is 0.267, with 22 HRs and 67 RBIs. RF Adolis Garcia (7 HRs, 20 RBIs) has raised his entire skill set to another level during this playoff run. SS Corey Seager, 3B Josh Jung and C Mitch Garver continue to get big hits during momentum shifting innings. Two man starting rotation of Nathan Eovaldi and Jordan Montgomery continue to overachieve and get out of jams. Middle relivers are finding a way to get the ball to closer Jose Leclerc. This roster has no holes right now and is on a serious roll with an attitude.

Prediction: Rangers win an up and down series in six games and are a dynasty in the making.
