Aroma: strong citrus and tangerine 22/24
Flavor: tropical fruit salad with a glass of orange juice, leads to a spicy and dank finish, lite cedar and mint aftertaste due to Sabro hops 38/40
Mouthfeel: thick, chewy and creamy with some hop burn 9/10
Overall Impression: best Skies of Wonder batch since Adore version in February 2019 19/20

Top notch DIPA that is pure juice from beginning to end

Fort George Brewery is a medium sized brewery located in Astoria, Oregon and opened in 2007. They specialize in hazy IPAs, barrel aged stouts and fresh hop West Coast IPAs. All beer geeks in the Pacific Northwest anxiously wait for the annual release of 3-Way IPA in late May/early June. 3-Way IPA has been released since 2013 and its a collaboration with Fort George and two other breweries. Past participating breweries have included Boneyard Beer, Block 15, pFriem, Georgetown, Melvin, Great Notion, Reuben’s Brews, Holy Mountain, Modern Times, Cloudburst, Ruse, Structures and Level Beer. The 2021 version will be a collaboration of Fort George, Varietal Beer and Moonraker Brewing. The 2017 version is still my all time favorite hazy IPA and I’ve been chasing that beer style ever since on a daily basis. Annual PNW distribution typically lasts until Labor Day. Fort George started shipping beer cases to Oregon and Washington in early summer 2020 due to COVID-19 regulations. 3-5 days delivery time via UPS. Be careful when opening shipping packages, due to the ease of puncturing cans when using scissors or a knife to remove packing tape.
